At Laminar Medica, we understand that the
requirements for transporting temperature controlled materials can vary
dramatically from one business to the next.
We offer a number of flexible options to our customers including
prior catalogue library products, bespoke solutions, modular solutions
and common componentry.
Modular solutions are the key to flexibility
In 2010 our Global Product Strategy was rolled out with the
implementation of over 15 modular and sizeable units that can be
assembled or configured for different shipping durations, climate zones
and temperature stability requirements.
The Global Product Strategy is essentially made up of a number of
scaleable solutions offering our customers complete flexibility in size,
height, capacities, transport durations and temperature bands. The
strategy builds on the modular philosophy in our latest Chilltherm®,
MediSorb® and Freezetherm® products.
Utilising the same family of mouldings (Meditherm 25) with additional
rings we have developed a range of products from 5 to 58 litre
capacity. All temperature bands and transport durations have been
catered for including the chilled Chilltherm® National, Regional and
Global range which offers dependable temperature control from 12 to 120
hours. The same family of mouldings has also been utilised in our
MediSorb® MSMC ranges to satisfy the needs of customers who ship
products at temperatures of between +15°C and +23°C and frozen using our
Freezetherm® range of dry ice systems.
Common componentry ensures ease of assembly
This new generation of adaptable systems have been designed to offer
effective protection using the minimum number of proven Laminar Medica
components. The same family of mouldings mentioned previously utilise
common componentry, such as the medicools (MC3/T) across all product
ranges which makes our systems fast and simple to assemble and ensures
maximum availability. Benefits to our customers include:
1). reduce lead times on certain products
2). reduced componentry
3). same core system componentry for several temperature bands
With increasing pressure on companies to cut their expenditure, the
need to find a cost effective method of protecting temperature sensitive
goods is now essential. Coupled with stringent laws and regulations,
the challenge becomes all the more profound.
By making the most of our modular solutions and common componentry,
customers can gain access to a new generation of sophisticated yet
affordable temperature controlled packaging technology to ensure that
sensitive materials are shipped quickly, efficiently and safely.
