Quality Department
Our Quality Assurance (QA) department plays a vital role in ensuring that Laminar Medica are a temperature controlled packaging supplier you can depend on. They are responsible for our Management Systems, including BS EN ISO 9001, now firmly established as the globally recognized standard for quality assurance and customer satisfaction, and BS 25999, the world’s first British standard for business continuity management.
In addition to these, we have achieved certification for two new standards in 2009. The first is BS OHSAS 18001 the Occupational Health & Safety standard. This ensures we operate a safe and healthy working environment by providing a framework that allows us to identify and control risks.
The second standard we have attained certification for in 2009 is BS EN ISO 14001, which focuses on Environmental Management Systems, and ensures we are working in an environmentally sustainable manner. BS EN ISO 14001 helps us to identify and control the environmental impact of everything we do, as well as putting in place measures to continually reduce our environmental impact and meet new objectives.
Our Czech operation has also (independently) gained certification for the same management systems.
