At Laminar Medica, we are committed to lowering our own environmental impact and raising our clients’ awareness of environmental issues.
To do this, we are
- Have implemented the BS EN ISO 14001 environmental management system which ensures we are working in an environmentally sustainable manner
- Are reducing our energy consumption and use of natural resources by refining our processes and evaluating both the design and composition of our products.

Greener Processes
We have been committed to reducing our waste for a number of years and are proud of our record to date of having achieved recycling rates of between 80% and 85% in all of our waste streams. Reducing the volume of waste we send for processing and therefore the impact of transporting it, has been made possible by the installation of a number of compressed air-operated bailers.
This summer, we plan to install a waste storage and separation facility at our Tring site to centralise the management of all waste produced on the premises and increase our recycling rates still further.
Additionally, we are continually checking our own suppliers’ green credentials to ensure we are working with companies that share our responsible approach to environmental issues.
